Please read the following information carefully before completing the 
Corporate Education Center 
Registration Form.

Who can attend your classes?
Corporate Education classes are open to anyone in the community. In general, you must be 18 years of age to register for a class.

Do I need to pre-register?
Pre-registration and payment are required to reserve a place in all classes. We accept registrations on a first-come, first-served basis up to the first class meeting, space permitting. A decision to hold or cancel a class is often based on pre-registration enrollment. 

Where are the classes held?
Classes are generally scheduled at either the West Campus on Highway 44 & Mickelson Dr or the East Campus at 1600 Sedivy Lane. Specific directions are sent with your course confirmation.


How do I register for a class?
There are 5 ways to register for a class. We recomment that you register online for the quickest confirmation response.

Online: You can register here at the Corporate Education Center website by clicking the sign in link at the left. Create a student profile and them simply browse the course link and add your choices to your shopping cart.

In person: The Corporate Education Center is located along East Highway 44 (heading east toward the Airport). The address is 800 Mickelson Dr., Rapid City, SD.  Our office is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.

By mail: Send your check or money order payable to:  Western Dakota Tech, ATTN: Corporate Education Center, 800 Mickelson Dr., Rapid City SD  57703.  Enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope will expedite our response.

By phone: Use your Visa/MC/Discover to register by calling 605-718-2410 Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm.


By fax: Fax the completed registration form with your Visa/MC/Discover card information to (605) 394-5116, 24 hours every day.  

What is your refund/transfer policy?

Cancellation/Refunds:
 Students will be charged a drop fee for withdrawing from a course prior to the drop deadline.  It is the student's responsibility to note the drop deadline dates listed below.  NO REFUNDS GRANTED AFTER THE DROP DEADLINE.  Refunds will be given if the Corporate Education Center cancels a class.  Refunds may take 2-3 weeks to process.  Sorry, no exceptions.  

 

Corporate Education reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, instructors when necessary.  Video or tape recording during classes is not allowed.  WDT's Corporate Education Center is pleased to welcome and admit students 18 years of age and over of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin to all classes.

For most classes the drop fee is $25 if withdrawing prior to the drop deadline, which is 3:00pm 7 days before class start.  No refunds after the drop deadline.  Exceptions to this cancellation policy are as follows:
EMT Refresher - no refund after enrollment.
CPR Recertification - no refund after enrollment.
CNA Testing - no refund after enrollment.
Dental Assistant Radiology Course - drop fee $50, drop deadline 14 days before class start.
Dental Assistant Nitrous Oxide / Oxygen Sedation - drop fee $50, drop deadline 14 days before class start.
Professional Truck Driving Program - drop fee $500, drop deadline 14 days before class start.

What if class is cancelled due to inclement weather? 
The Corporate Education Center will not issue refunds for classes which have been postponed due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control.  We will make every effort to reschedule such classes.  If Western Dakota Tech campus is closed, Corporate Education classes will be cancelled. Please check the local TV and Radio stations, as well as the WDT facebook page for the most current updates on closings.
